There are just a few grateful young men, in a little French Village called Fromelles who have their identity & dignity back thanks to a wonderful man, Lambis Englezos and a team of amazingly dedicated people, one of which was Sandra Playle. Her commitment & determination to give these Boys back their identities was so inspiring to me as a relative of one of these brave souls. Sandra was part of a team that against seemingly impossible odds found DNA relatives of a good few of the Soldiers, which led to them subsequently being identified and their stories told. I will always be indebted to Sandra for the part she played in returning "Our Ernest" & his fellow Soldiers back to us all. Thank you Sandra!

I would like to say thank you to Sandra for her help in researching information about my grandfather who was killed in the second world war. It has been greatly appreciated. I have accessed his records and now know more about him than I ever did. I have photos of his grave site in Bomana, Port moresby.
